As the content lead for Johnston Grocke’s 2020 website refresh, we wrote and optimised 30 expert articles, 38 category pages, 10 functional pages, plus UX copy.

The brief

One of the first financial service firms in South Australia to offer financial planning and accounting in a one-stop shop, Johnston Grocke has long been seen as disruptors in their industry. But this hasn’t always been reflected in their content, and that’s what they brought us in to overhaul.

What we did

  • Ran a content audit to understand lay of the land
  • Used the audit insights to identify keywords
  • Used audit & SEO insights to create IA & taxonomy
  • Created and optimised 38 category and sub-category pages, and 30 editorial articles for the website (plus optimised metadata)
  • Set up goal tracking, managed migration and organised redirects
  • Ran quarterly reporting on site and SEO
